Conclusion:There’s a lot to like about ABBYY PDF Transformer: it’s converter is one of the quickest and easiest in its price range, and its updated language recognition provides a solid, reliable text transference. But while the Transformer is fairly easy to use, each of the three main functions (combine, convert and create) is bizarrely separated into its own start-up and interface. For the sake of usability, these should really be combined into one offering. Compared to some of its competitors, ABBYY PDF Transformer also lacks some of their advanced features. For those looking for basic PDF-handling, they’re certainly not going to miss anything, but anyone with advanced needs is going to find ABBYY PDF Transformer a little underpowered.
